We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our client’s dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cardiovascular diseases, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services within the Australian healthcare system.
Job Details :
Responsibilities: • Patient Consultation and Diagnosis: o Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations. o Diagnose a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease. o Interpret diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations. • Procedural Interventions: o Perform a wide range of complex interventional cardiac procedures, including: ? Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) ? Percutaneous coronary intervention with stenting ? Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) ? Valvular heart disease interventions ? Device implantations (e.g., pacemakers, defibrillators) • Clinical Research and Education: o Participate in clinical research studies to advance the field of interventional cardiology. o Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows. o Present at conferences and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals. • Quality Improvement: o Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize healthcare delivery. o Adhere to evidence-based guidelines and clinical best practices. o Comply with Australian healthcare regulations and standards.
Key Skills :
Qualifications: • Advanced degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent) • Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Cardiology or equivalent UK qualification • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation
